SINKING BELL TOWER

The "Sinking Bell Tower" in Laoag City is one of its most well-known features, it is sinking every year.It Built most likely during the 1707 earthquake, the tower has a 90-meter (300-foot) foundation.Built from locally produced bricks, it is connected with molasses and sablot leaf juice that has been combined with lime and sand. It is further strengthened by four enormous columns at each corner and a meandering staircase that leads to the belfry.
